Intelligent Performance Advisor

Starting from version 1.5, Ajaxium comes with an Intelligent Performance Advisor. This built-in tool has been designed to help you eliminate inefficient content updates and make integration and development jobs easier. Intelligent Performance Advisor analyzes the performance of AJAX updates and issues performance-enhancing recommendations to get rid of inefficient content updates that may cause page flickering or produce any other visible noise during updates. It also provides information regarding reasons for fallbacks to the ASP.NET mode if they occur.

Advisor opens in a new window and contains the following sections: Summary, Actions Log and Changes.

The Summary Section briefly describes the most significant action performed. Depending on the importance level, the color of summary messages turns green, orange or red.

The Actions Log Section records and displays all the actions performed by Ajaxium's client-side code. If something seems to go wrong or if the reason of a fallback to the ASP.NET mode isn't clear, this section will help to perform a detailed analysis.

The Changes Section displays all the changes applied to the HTML code of the page and relevant to the action performed. For example, if changes occur in script blocks and cause document rewriting, the Changes Section will show all the changes that have occurred in script blocks. Those of the changes that are irrelevant to the last action performed are ignored.

With Intelligent Performance Advisor integration with existing ASP.NET sites and open-source projects becomes an extremely easy job.
